In the Database Column (left column), choose Databases and select
List All. This screen lists links to available databases. Most
useful are:
- ECO- collection of scholarly journals
- ERIC- Journal articles and reports in education
- GPO- U.S. government publications
- HealthInfo- Health and wellness information for consumers,
students and professionals
- MEDLINE- All areas of medicine, including dentistry
and nursing
- WilsonSelectPlus- Full text articles in science, humanities,
education and business
- WorldAlmanac Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia
and four almanacs
- EBSCOHOST MAGAZINE DATABASE

Enter the Authorization and password before clicking on SUBMIT
to login and choose EBSCOhost Web from the next page. A new page
pops up listing a number of databases available which include:
- MAS Ultra - School Edition
- Full text for over 500 popular general interest and current
events publications with information dating back as far as 1975
for key magazines. It also provides nearly 550 full text pamphlets,
150 full text reference books, nearly 100,000 biographies, 76,000
primary source documents, and an image collection of 116,000
photos, maps and flags.
- Health Source: Consumer Edition
- Consumer health information on many health topics including
the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare,
sports medicine and general health with full text for nearly
300 journals.
- Newspaper Source
- Selected full text coverage for more than 240 newspapers
and other sources with full text for USA Today, The Christian
Science Monitor and The Times (London) as well as selected full
text from more than 180 regional newspapers. Full text transcripts
are also included from Face the Nation, CBS Evening News with
Dan Rather, 60 Minutes, O'Reilly Factor, Hannity & Colmes,
National Public Radio, etc.
- Professional Development Collection
- Designed for professional educators, this database provides
a highly specialized collection of over 515 full text journals,
including nearly 350 peer-reviewed titles. This is the most comprehensive
collection of full text education journals in the world.
- ERIC
- Educational Resource Information Center contains more than
2,200 digests along with references for additional information
and citations and abstracts from over 980 educational and education-related
journals.
- TOPICsearch
- This current events database allows researchers to explore
social, political & economic issues, scientific discoveries
and other popular topics with full text for over 64,000 articles
from more than 3,000 sources, including nearly 1,600 full text
periodicals.
