Welcome to the Neil Carter Study and Media Center
Carrollton High School
The Neil Carter Study and Media Center is located on the second floor
of Carrollton High School and operates from 7:35 am to 3:20 pm on school days. 
Circulation Policy 
Books may be checked out for four weeks and renewed once for a  total check out time of eight weeks.  For popular or new titles, books and materials may be recalled before the eight weeks if it has been requested by another local patron.  The late fee is $.05/day.
Computer Policy 
To use the computers in the Media Center, either for educational use, students must have a signed Acceptable Use Agreement in their agenda books and must open their books to the signature page.
When using the computers, students must sign in on the login sheet with their name, hour of the day, and purpose for using the computer.  Games and music are not allowed during school hours.
Lunch Hour
During the student lunch hour, students are welcome to visit the media center and use the computer to play games or listen to music.
Inter-Library Loan 
Students may order materials through Interlibrary Loan through the Lewis and Clark Library System.  Fines, check-out periods and processing times vary, depending on the lending library.  Students are required to meet all due dates on these materials on loan from other libraries.
Book Donations 
Book donations are always welcome.  However, we cannot guarantee that all materials donated will end up in our collection.  Materials will be evaluated on an item by item basis.  If the donated material  does not meet the needs of our collection, the materials will be offered to other libraries in the district and community.  To donate materials to the Carrollton HighSchool Media Center please call: 217.942.6913 during school hours.
